ChinaScholarship Council(CSC) recently announced the first cohort of the 2021 fundedInternational Cooperative Training Programs for Innovative Talents. Withwell-prepared application materials and perfect on-site defense performance, threeprograms declared by Zhejiang University were ultimately selected for fundingwith support from CSC.

The three programsfunded are declared by Life Sciences Institute, School of Materials Science andEngineering, College of Chemical and Biological Engineering of ZhejiangUniversity.

Since 2014, theChina Scholarship Council has established “the International CooperativeTraining Programs for Innovative Talents”, aiming to better serve the nationalstrategy, to boost the comprehensive reform in the field of education and topromote the construction of first-class universities and first-classdisciplines, to cultivate more innovative, compound, urgently-needed talentswith international background. The program focuses on supporting cooperationbetween first-class universities at home and abroad, as well as cooperation inadvantageous disciplines at home and abroad. The implementation period of theapproved programs is 3 years. The China Scholarship Council will provide ascholarship to successful applicants to cover the international airfare and theliving stipend during the funding period.
