Another world ranking leap for ZJU

According to the highly-regarded AcademicRanking of World Universities (ARWU), Zhejiang University isnow rated at 67 in the world, a leap from 101-150 last year – to be China'smost improved university. The University has now cemented its position in thetop 100 in two major world university rankings. The latest QS ranking has theUniversity at 68 in the world. The string of pleasing results onranking was testament to ZJU’s incredible research and innovation capabilitiesand top staff expertise, combined with deep engagement with industry, businessand society.
TheARWU ranks universities with several indicators of academic or researchperformance, including alumni and staff winning Nobel Prizes and Fields Medals,highly cited researchers, papers published in Nature and Science, papersindexed in major citation indices, and the per capita academic performance ofan institution.
