Mobile Application Innovation Contest 2019 kicked off in Zijingang campus

The4th edition of the Mobile Application Innovation Contest, part of theChina Collegiate Computing Contest, was successfully concluded at ZhejiangUniversity on October 27. Organized by the Ministry of Education and co-hostedby Apple Inc. and Zhejiang University, the Contest attracted about 1,600 teamsfrom colleges and universities throughout China. A total of 30 winning teamswere qualified to attend the upcoming Apple Worldwide Developers Conference.

Themedon “the application of science and technology to social issues”, the Contestaimed at encouraging college students to take up a series of challenges in industry,agriculture, healthcare, environment and education via cutting-edge technology.

TheBest Innovative Prize went to “Art Easiest”, an app designed by a team fromZhejiang University. It is a short-video app by which a proper musicalaccompaniment can be automatically synchronized to a video by “shake it” or“say it”. The user can also create a “face-off” effect with famous paintings orother videos via the filter. This app is very intriguing, operable, and ofminimalist design.


ZhejiangUniversity has long been a very important partner with Apple Inc. in the domainof tertiary education in China. So far, it has hosted the CCCC-MobileApplication Innovation Contest for three consecutive years and worked in closepartnership with Apple Inc. in the Apple Distinguished Educators (ADE) program,the Regional Training Center and the iOS Club.
